Our Process
Discovery
To take the first step to work with us, use our contact form, call, or email. We can then talk about the project that you have in mind. To provide you with a no obligation quote, we will first need a few questions answered. Depending on the scope of the project, we will need to ask:
- Do you have pictures of the area?
- Do you know the size of the project?
- If you're looking for excavation, will the spoils be kept on site?
- Is compaction necessary?
- If you're looking for lot clearing - will the debris be kept on site and/or burned?
- Do you have a timeline in mind?
Providing a Quote
We prefer to visit the area of your project that you would like work performed upon after the initial discovery. That will allow us to come on site prepared with your requested service in mind. We can then layout the job with your permission with wheel marking, stakes, or string. Having us on site does not commit you to working with CIC, but will allow each of us to provide feedback in regards to any changes in scope that are needed.
Acceptance
Once we decide that we're a fit - it's go time! Almost. First we will draft up an acceptance of work letter to be signed. Then we can get to work on the agreed upon start date of your project!
